The Kilmarnock Active Travel Hub is situated on Platform 1 of Kilmarnock Railway Station and is a partnership project between East Ayrshire Council and Sustrans Scotland. The project is funded by Paths for All via the Smarter Choices Smarter Places programme and aims to enable people in East Ayrshire to travel by foot, bike or public transport for more of their everyday journeys.
The Hub has a dedicated team of Active Travel Officers and volunteers who are on hand to deliver a range of cycling and walking activities as well as offering advice on active and sustainable travel. The Kilmarnock Active Travel Hub works with individuals, local workplaces and community organisations.
